France Sees Rise in International Student Numbers, Ranks 6th Worldwide

France has become a popular destination for international students, with over 412,000 now studying there. This marks a 3% increase in one year and a notable 17% increase over five years. A recent report says the sector is unsure about the future because of Covid-19, but things are looking up.

Frances higher education population is 14% foreign students, which shows how popular it is. The majority of international students come from Europe, Africa, and North Africa. Also, a lot of Indian students are now studying in France, making up for the fact that there are fewer Chinese students.

France is like the 6th best place for international students worldwide. The main countries where these students come from are Morocco, Algeria, and China. Additionally, French students are really into studying abroad, with over 105,000 students going overseas to study.
